The Amagansett Free Library is an amazing resource for both young and old. It is one of the most beloved institutions in Amagansett and stands as our community center, where one can hold meetings, take the kids for fun and educational events, hear guest speakers and so much more.

The primary goal of the Society is to maintain the beauty of Amagansett for all residents and visitors.
The first meeting was held in 1921. Our goal being"…the improvement of the roads, sidewalks, cemeteries, parks and greens of the said Amagansett and vicinity, and for the improvement and advancement of the welfare and best interests of said village of Amagansett.".
